Troubleshooting

DO NOT press the reset button this will erase the configuration preventing internet access and will result in a service call.


We use a variety of different setup configurations below are examples of setup and how to troubleshoot each.


One of the first steps if you are experiencing any issues, please try power cycling all devices

allow up to 1 minute for all equipment to reboot. 

Also try rebooting your computer, laptop, or mobile device.

Additional Information

Connect the cable labeled To Unit Outside to the cable going to the radio outside

Connect the cable labeled To Router or computer to the Internet Port of the router. This port is usually off to itself on the router in some cases if the router does not have a port labeled Internet connect it to port 1. 


If your setup does not have a POE injector plug into port 5 once plugged in the light indicator will turn red to indicate that it is providing power to the radio.

Additional Information

Connect the cable labeled To LAN to the routers Internet port or connect directly to a computer

Connect the Cable labeled POE Enabled Device to the radio that is outside ensure all cables are connected securely in place.


 If your setup does not have a POE injector plug into port 5 once plugged in the light indicator will turn red to indicate that it is providing power to the radio.

Additional Information

If you have this type of POE plug the cable that goes to the radio outside to the ethernet port shown on the left side of the above image. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the routers Internet port or computer. Ensure that all cables on both ends are connected securely.

Linksys E1200 Router

Connect the cable coming from the POE to the port labeled Internet

Ports 1 - 4 are used to connect your devices to the router. 

Ensure all cables on both ends are connected securely.

Connect the cable coming from the POE to the port labeled Internet

Ports 1 - 4 are used to connect your devices to the router. 

Ensure all cables on both ends are connected securely.

Mikrotik hAP AC Lite

Connect the cable coming from the POE to the port 1

Ports 2 - 5 are used to connect your devices to the router. 

Ensure all cables on both ends are connected securely.
